Kong Hua School is a Chinese-Filipino educative community that has offered basic education from preschool to high school for more than seven decades. To be a member of KHS faculty, one must:
• KNOW and applies the school’s educational thrusts, goals and objectives in all class activities;
• PLAN lessons and classroom activities systematically, carefully and thoroughly;
• DEMONSTRATE mastery of the subject matter;
• GIVE clear, well-defined instructions and criteria for evaluation/rubrics that will allow pupils/students to satisfactorily performs and finishes the assigned work on time;
• MAXIMIZE the use of instructional tools, equipment, devices, software and materials for effective classroom teaching;
• PROVIDE an environment that motivates learners which is conducive to learning and promotes higher-order thinking skills;
• PRIORITIZE the interest of the learners, exercises sensitivity to their needs and extends assistance in addressing the learner’s problem and difficulties;
• KEEP abreast with new developments in the subject area and effectively apply the latest methods/techniques of instructions.
Accordingly, we will be looking for the following skills and prerequisites:
• A holder of bachelor’s degree in Preschool/Elementary and Secondary Education or its equivalent. (Secondary School teachers, with at least 18 units of professional education subjects to teach largely in the major field);
• A graduate of four-year course with at least 18 units of specialization in relevant strand/specialized subject;
• Preferably a licensed teacher and with teaching experience.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Computer literate
