URGENT HIRING SCHOOL NURSE

A. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Communicates and provides accurate and complete information through established verbal and written reports.
2. Takes vital signs of patients who come for consultation.
3. Assists the doctor during consultation, annual physical check-ups for employees and faculty.
4. Prepares and administers or prescribes medicines to patients.
5. Ensures patient that confidentiality is maintained and rights are upheld.
6. Plans and provides teaching to patients related to their understanding of the illness and treatment.
7. Established a therapeutic relationship with patient.
8. Prepares monthly report, report lost equipment to proper authorities and those which need prompt repair.
9. Joins annual educational field trips of students for medical needs.
10. Performs other functions as may be assigned by the superior.

C. WORK RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to : School Doctor

Supervises : No one

B. QUALIFICATIONS

Education : Bachelor of Science in Nursing Graduate with valid license as a registered nurse.

Experience : 1 to 2 years experience in hospital setting

Training : Three hours training in quality patient care

Skills : Proficient in oral and written communication
