Interviewers may ask about your expected salary because they may want to know if you will be contented with what the company can offer. If you have considerable working experience, they may also want to know if they can afford you.
Applicants who get to discuss salary issues with potential employers are fortunate. Some interviewers will not bother to discuss further after you have given an answer. If there are other applicants being considered, your answer to this question could be a factor that could determine whether you will move up in your application or not. In other words, you should be careful when you answer this question.
If you are desperate for the job, you should give a reasonable rate. You can base your answer on what you know about the size and capacity of the company and on the prevailing minimum wage. If you have some work experience, you can use your past rate as basis for asking for the same amount or a little more.
Do take note that salary rates help ensure employee satisfaction. Don’t jump immediately on an opportunity just because you desperately need a job if you know you can’t be happy with the possible rate.

Hi! Do you have any idea how Nestle Phils Inc. give examinations and interviews for applicant? Just wondering....I would like to be part of the company though, that's why, I believe, I should be prepared.

Hi Len. A friend took the Nestle exam just recently. I do believe they follow the same procedure as any other company. They invite applicants over for exams and interview. My friend did say that the exam was difficult. I also think that exam types may differ according to the position you are applying for. As for the interview I don't think there is any foreseeable way to prepare for it because different interviewers have different styles. By the way, sometimes I notice that Nestle uses a third party recruiter to interview some applicants for them.
