NURSING AIDES
Qualifications
1. Should be a graduate/ certificate of any of the following:
*Nursing Aide Course
*Midwifery
*BS Nursing (under board)
*Caregiver
2. Preferably have 3-6 months experience; fresh graduate are also welcome
3. Should be Christ-centered, responsible, honest and committed.
4. Should have evidence of good mental and physical health
5. Should be able to communicate effectively and establish good relations with patients and hospital personnel.
6. Should be neat well-groomed
7. Should be interested and enthusiastic to work in a hospital environment
JOB DESCRIPTION
A. Direct Care
1. Assist in the activities concerning patient care
a. Vital signs monitoring
b. Bedside care
c. Preparation of Patients for special procedures
2. Performs treatment and procedures under the supervision of the nurse
3. Assists in the Spiritual needs of the patient
4. Assists during “Code Blue”
B. Indirect Care
1. Coordinates with the Charge and Staff Nurses in the:
a. Preparation of bed/rooms for admission
b. Transfer of patients to other units or area
c. Discharge of patients from the unit
