Requirements:

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree preferably in the field of Information Technology, Commerce or Accounting
• With work experience of at least one (1) year in similar position or field, an advantage
• Must be sharp and keen to details
• Must be a team player with good interpersonal skills
• Computer literate/able to use standard software programs (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Internet)
• Willing to work on shifting schedules and during emergencies under short notice
• Physically and mentally fit

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Primarily responsible for the initial receiving and final releasing of all import and export containers by conducting thorough physical examination on the containers gating-in
• Executes the procedural inspection on the proper documentation and requirements of all containers gating-in and gating-out.
• Withholds exit or entry of withdrawing trucks from the terminal should the documents are invalid or need revalidation from the Billing section.
• Conducts trafficking and queuing of trucks in the truck holding area to prevent congestion at the gates;
• Prepares and submits necessary reports to immediate superior for billing purposes
• Ensures that target standard on gate movement productivity is achieved continuously
