Work Assignments:
• Carry out a programmed audit
• Review & evaluate the Company’s business processes, systems, policies & procedures, standards & practices
• Ensure appropriate control measures and productivity in all areas of operations
• Conduct financial studies, productivity measures, time & motion studies
• Report preparation
2. COMMUNITY RELATIONS SUPERVISOR (CUSTOMER & COMMUNITY RELATIONS DEPARTMENT)
Qualifications:
• College graduate; any 4 year course
• At least 2 years’ experience in any public related functions.
• Possess the following knowledge and skills:
• Analytical Skills; Communication Skills; Driving skills;
• Computer literate; and customer oriented.
3. CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE SUPERVISOR (Customer Service Department)
Qualifications:
• A graduate of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering course
• At least 3 years exposure or working experience in a power utility or a service-related company, specifically one heavy on customer service handling.
• With driving skill (must have a valid license)
Responsibilities:
• To ensure immediate and thorough response to customers’ requests, needs and requirements from the company, thus promoting their satisfaction and patronage.
4. ASSISTANT IN-HOUSE COUNSEL (Legal Services Department)
Qualifications:
• Graduate of Bachelor of Laws and a Bar Examination Passer
• More than one (1) year law practice or employment as corporate lawyer
Work Assignments:
• To assist the In-house Counsel in carrying out the functional activities of the Legal Services Department such as rendering legal opinion or advice; Perform legal research & services for the company; Acts as Counsel of cases before the court, tribunals, quasi-judicial bodies, other governmental bodies for and as may be authorized by the company.
5. (1)BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYST (Internal Audit Group)
Qualifications:
• Degree in Industrial Engineering, or Computer Science, or Information Technology, or Information Management.
• With experience in process and procedure analysis and formulation, information analysis, system analysis and design.
Work Assignments:
• Evaluates business processes, identifies problem areas and inefficiencies, recommends process enhancements
• Plans out projects in accordance with corporate objectives, monitors projects’ progress to ensure that processes are aligned to business plans
• Participates in defining factors and formulating evaluation matrix for project proposals
• Participates in formulation and dissemination of IT policies and guidelines and regularly monitors their effectiveness
6. DESIGN ENGINEER – SCADA Software Specialist (Distribution Planning & Development Department)
Qualifications:
• Registered Electrical Engineer
• Experience in substation Gateway/RTU & Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) Configuration
• Experience in electrical utility control systems
• Demonstrated experience of communication protocols (DNP, MODBUS, IEC 61850, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience with Windows & UNIX/Linux OS
• Demonstrated experience using MS Applications, SynerGEE Electric & Visual Basic
Responsibilities:
• The implementation of substation and distribution automation projects
• The maintenance of SCADA system database & HMI for remote monitoring & control of substation & field devices
• Collaboration with SCADA hardware specialist, substation engineer, System Supervisor, Smart Grid Engineer in improving and promoting automation opportunities with the goal of improving system reliability and customer service.
• Serves as technical resource to management, staff and customers on SCADA systems.
• Stays current on technology associated with SCADA systems & providing 24/7 callout support for SCADA – related applications.
7. DESIGN ENGINEER – SCADA Hardware Specialist (Distribution Planning & Development Department)
Qualifications:
• Registered Electrical Engineer
• Experience in substation Gateway/RTU & Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) Configuration
• Experience in electrical utility control systems
• Demonstrated experience of communication protocols (DNP, MODBUS, IEC 61850, etc.)

Responsibilities:
• The implementation of substation and distribution automation projects
• The management and maintenance of critical SCADA computer systems, monitors SCADA computers and network for faults; troubleshoots and correct faults
• The development and modification of SCADA system procedures, documentation, and checklists for the internal use.
• Serves as technical resource to management, staff and customers on SCADA systems.
• Stays current on technology associated with SCADA systems & providing 24/7 callout support for SCADA – related applications.
8. EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN (TSD / ETR Department)
Qualifications:
• Graduate in BS Electrical Engineering
• Professional Driver’s License R12
• Knowledge in electrical engineering theories/practices with emphasis on power equipment maintenance
Work Assignments:
• Conducts preventive maintenance, testing, calibration, repair & recording and/or monitoring of T&D equipment
• To ensure the reliability of T&D equipment installed in the system.
• Conducts required preventive maintenance, testing & repairs T&D facilities contracted by CEPALCO’s External Services Group.
9. FIELD INSPECTOR (Billing Service Department)
Qualifications:
• Graduate in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology
• Professional Driver’s License R12
Work Assignments:
• Conduct field inspection and verification on accounts
• Monitor erroneous meter reading and identify defective meters
• Verify increase/decrease consumption and resolve load abnormalities
• Illegal tapping monitoring
• Bill dispatching
• Customer Assistance
10. METER LAB TECHNICIAN (Technical Services Department))
Qualifications:
• Graduate in BS in Electrical Engineering
Work Assignments:
• Responsible in the conduct of testing, calibration, repair and sealing of all types of new and recovered kilowatt-hour meters
• Conducts preventive maintenance, testing, calibration, repair & recording and/or monitoring of T&D equipment
11. LINE DESIGN STAFF (Line Project Management Section – LPMD)
Qualifications:
• Registered Electrical Engineer
• Skill in AutoCAD with background in electrical systems, project design and estimating works
• Professional Driver’s License R12
Work Assignments:
• Design and estimate Line projects
• Conduct field inspection
• Pole Use Monitoring
• Feasibility Study Preparation
12. ROW (Right-of-Way) NEGOTIATION STAFF (Line Project Management Section)
Requirements:
• Graduate of any engineering discipline
• With exposure and familiarity in Transmission and Distribution operations and line maintenance.
• Professional Driver’s License R12
• Safety Trainings / Capability
• Negotiation
