DESCRIPTIVE EXAMPLES OF WORK
• Schedules, distributes and inspects maintenance and repair work assigned to shop personnel.
• Supervises the whole operation of the gasoline station.
• Supervises the ordering of parts, materials and gasoline; and maintains an inventory of these items. Performs related work as required.
KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Thorough knowledge of the methods, techniques, and equipment used in the repair and maintenance of automotive equipment.
• Computer literate
• Ability to plan and direct the repair activities of a large staff and to make decisions in accordance with established policies.
• Hard working and well organized professional with power to prioritize and multitask.
ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Graduation from high school and three years supervisory experience in automotive parts, repair, or shop management work; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
