CFSI is a humanitarian organization that is committed to peace and social development, with a particular interest in the psychosocial dimension. Its mission is to protect and promote human security—specifically the lives, well being, and dignity of people uprooted by persecution, armed conflict, disaster, and other exceptionally difficult circumstances. Based in the Philippines and operating both domestically and internationally, CFSI seeks qualified and experienced applicants with diverse backgrounds for the following posts. They will specifically work on CFSI’s emergency response efforts in Northern Mindanao. Expressions of interest as well as complete resumés should be submitted to the Screening Committee by 10 April 2012 through nsison@cfsi.ph or submit to CFSI Field Office, 3rd Floor Tru-Value Building, Lapasan Hi-way, Cagayan de Oro or to CFSI Sub-Office, 035 Picardal Road, Mahayahay, Iligan City. Responses will be sent to short-listed candidates only.

Qualified applicants are proactive, well organized, and have academic degrees as well as experience in social work, community development, psychology, sociology, commerce, logistics or related field.

They have expertise in areas of particular concern to CFSI, such as protection, child rights, gender, conflict-resolution, peace-building, disaster, and livelihood. Strong interpersonal skills and cross-cultural experience; excellent writing and English language skills. They must be proficient in the use of computers and open to travel to field sites.

FINANCE/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANTS

Finance/Administrative Assistants will provide financial, administrative and clerical support to the Project Team. S/He will prepare financial records and reports, and ensure that human resources and logistical requirements in all activities of the project are provided for in a timely manner. In addition, s/he will provide information and support to project staff during actual implementation of social preparation and food/relief distribution activities. Qualified applicants must have at least one year experience in administrative, accounting and/or clerical work.
